WAVE is offering a fully funded, work-based Diploma, for women working in management roles in forward -looking SMEs, in the Convergence Areas.

“For every one person we produce as a technical person we should be producing ten IT people with business exploitation skills.” Ronan Miles, BT

The Strategic ICT Leadership programme will provide you with the skills you need to lead and develop the innovative use of information and communications technology, supporting the growth of your organisation and advancing your career.

If you aspire to develop as a manager of technology strategy this high value programme will enable you to realise your potential.

The programme is targeted at SMEs in the convergence areas of Wales and employers nominating a woman to the Diploma course will:

This new work- based Diploma aims to deliver maximum impact for business, with the majority of the learning based on real workplace projects. Each individual will be guided on a personalised learning programme that will reflect the priorities of their organisation.

About Us

The aim of the WAVE programme is to understand and ‘interrupt’ the ways in which gender pay inequalities are consistently reproduced through occupational segregation in employment and self employment, through the ways in which ‘women’s work is contracted’ and through the operation of pay systems.
