‘Let’s Talk About About Pay’ is a national conversation to raise awareness of how gender pay disparities emerge.
The aim of the conversation is to provide research, case studies and other evidence to help women, employers and government think about how to address the underlying causes of pay inequalities in Wales.
The aim of the conversation is to capture your views, opinions and lived experiences of being a self employed woman in Wales. The information collected will help inform research and allow your voice to be heard by other women business owners and policy makers.
Integral to the conversation are a series of road show events throughout the convergence areas of Wales.
We are inviting aspiring women business owners and self employed women to contribute to the conversation at these prestigious events.

The aim of the WAVE programme is to understand and ‘interrupt’ the ways in which gender pay inequalities are consistently reproduced through occupational segregation in employment and self employment, through the ways in which ‘women’s work is contracted’ and through the operation of pay systems.
The WAVE programme has now concluded after 3 successful years. There are still loads of fantastic organisations that you can get involved with, take a look!Signposting
