How training can improve your career and salary expectations

WAVE provides specialist training, mentoring and networking for women. The aim is to support women so that they are able to progress in ICT, Construction and leadership roles. WAVE also works with employers to improve the equality and diversity practice they have in place, and allow women to advance in technical career paths.

Through the fully funded courses and networks listed below, WAVE is able to support women to progress further at work and to open up more opportunities, personal and career growth and better rewards.

These programmes are offered through the WAVE Team at the Women’s Workshop Project @ BAWSO Ltd.

About Us

The aim of the WAVE programme is to understand and ‘interrupt’ the ways in which gender pay inequalities are consistently reproduced through occupational segregation in employment and self employment, through the ways in which ‘women’s work is contracted’ and through the operation of pay systems.

The WAVE programme has now concluded after 3 successful years.  There are still loads of fantastic organisations that you can get involved with, take a look!
